IPValue Affiliate Acquires OLED Patent Portfolio (December 18th, 2023)

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IPValue Management, Inc. today announced that its affiliate Lumitek Display Technology Limited (“Lumitek”) has acquired approximately 200 patents from Seiko Epson Corporation (“Epson”) directed to OLED technologies. Epson is a global technology leader with a long history of innovation in display related equipment such as watches, TVs and projectors, with pioneering work on OLED display panels and related manufacturing technologies.

IPValue Acquires a Major Patent Portfolio from Intel (August 8th, 2022)

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IPValue Management, Inc. announced that the IPValue Management Group (“IPValue”) and Intel Corporation (“Intel”) have entered into a set of agreements that extend IPValue’s licensing arrangement with Intel and bring another great patent portfolio under IPValue’s management. As part of this transaction, a portfolio of nearly five thousand Intel patents has been transferred to Tahoe Research Limited, a newly formed company within the IPValue Management Group. The portfolio draws from nearly two decades of Intel innovation and includes inventions relating to microprocessors, application processors, logic devices, computing systems, memory and storage, connectivity and communications, packaging, semiconductor architecture and design, semiconductor manufacturing, and other technologies. IPValue will license the Tahoe portfolio to its established and growing network of licensees and will continue to acquire and license portfolios from other world leading enterprises.

IPValue Management Affiliate Grants License to SK hynix to Patent Portfolio Acquired from Cypress Semiconductor (June 22nd, 2022)

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IPValue Management, Inc. (“IPValue”) today announced that Longitude Licensing Ltd. (“LLL”) has granted SK hynix Inc. (“SK hynix”) a worldwide, non-exclusive patent license for the patent portfolio of Longitude Flash Memory Solutions, Ltd. (“LFMS”). LFMS and LLL are affiliates of IPValue. SK hynix is a top tier semiconductor supplier offering Dynamic Random Access Memory chips, Flash memory chips, CMOS Image Sensors, and SSDs for a wide range of distinguished customers globally.

The LFMS portfolio comprises more than 500 patents worldwide. The patents originated from Cypress Semiconductor, which was acquired by Infineon Technologies in 2020. These patents address certain fundamental technologies related to the design, manufacturing and operation of various kinds of memory devices, such as NAND (3D & 2D, MLC, TLC, QLC), DRAM, NVDIMM, HBM, and SSDs products and include, among others, SONOS, Charge Trap structures and ECC.

IPValue Management Affiliate Licenses Kioxia Corporation to Patent Portfolio Acquired from Elpida Memory (April 13th, 2020)

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IPValue Management, Inc. (“IPValue”) today announced that its affiliate Longitude Licensing Ltd. (“Longitude”) has granted Kioxia Corporation (“Kioxia”) a worldwide, nonexclusive patent license to Longitude’s patent portfolio of more than 1,400 issued and pending patents in countries across North America, Asia and Europe. Kioxia is a top tier semiconductor supplier offering flash memory and SSDs for a wide range of distinguished customers globally.

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IPValue Management, Inc. (“IPValue”) today announced that Longitude Licensing Ltd. (“LLL”) has granted SK hynix Inc. (“SK hynix”) a worldwide, non-exclusive patent license for the patent portfolio of Advanced Interconnect Systems, LLC (“AIS”). AIS and LLL are affiliates of IPValue. SK hynix is a top tier semiconductor supplier offering Dynamic Random Access Memory chips, Flash memory chips and CMOS Image Sensors for a wide range of distinguished customers globally.

The AIS portfolio comprises more than 400 patents worldwide. The patents originated from Seiko Epson and cover fundamental semiconductor manufacturing technologies, such as Through-Silicon Vias and digital imaging technology. The patented inventions are relevant to a wide range of semiconductor devices, including High Bandwidth Memory modules, CMOS image sensors, stacked memories such as for server applications, and Wafer Level Chip Scale Packages.
